WonderCon & JCPenney commercial with RogerLA

Wow! WonderCon was amazing! I met so many awesome people. It was great to get my work out there and get such a good response. I have a few sketchbooks left from the con. If you would like one, message me on my site, JoeDraws.com, in the contact section. I'm selling them for $5, so they should go pretty fast. If you go to Otis College, message me, and I'll bring some with me to the life drawing workshops on Thursdays.

If you use blogger, feel free to subscribe to my blog on the right side.  →  →  →  →

Here are some funny sketches I did for RogerLA. This was a JCPenny commercial they did recently.

And as always, any comments or critiques of my work are welcome. I'm always available to learn.

More WonderCon sketches

I'm sitting here finishing up everything for WonderCon. I'm a little nervous but really excited. Here's some of the work in progress that's going to be there. If you can make it, drop by and say hi. Also, check out Jessica Chrysler, an amazing storybook author and illustrator. She will be at my booth as well.

Artist's Alley at WonderCon

My booth at WonderCon is AA-218. I'm near the gaming area. I'll have some artwork for sale, but being this is my first con, I'll be doing some commissions for free. If there's anything anybody wants sketched out, let me know, and I'll have something waiting for you.

WonderCon 2012

WonderCon is coming up, and I'll be there in Artist's Alley. I'll have more details soon along with some work in progress for the con. Drop by and say hi.

Since this is my first con, I'll be doing a few free commissions. If there's something you'd like drawn, message me and I'll get it out to you.

Netflix's "The Power of Friendship" by Superfad

Here's a Netflix spot that was a lot of fun. Superfad brought me on to do the backgrounds. Check out the Aaron Sowd's and Tuna Bora's blogs too. They were the storyboard and character designers for the project.

Professor Braintstorm

San Diego Comic Con just finished up a few weeks ago. I ran into some old friends I've worked with in the past and thought I should post some of the work we did together. This is from a children's card game / MMORPG called Prof. Brainstorm. Friends from college brought me on and it was a lot of fun. Lucky for me I get to work with my old art director at Riot Games again. More stuff to come over the next few weeks.
